\u201cTheophilus \u2013 The Musical\u201d (originally named Acts \u2013 The Musical) is the sequel to the hugely successful \u201cRisen!\u00a0<\/strong>The Musical\u201d which culminates with Jesus ascending to heaven. Now, in \u201cTheophilus- The Musical\u201d Gospel writer Luke is reunited with his patron, Theophilus to continue the story; describing how the Gospel has spread far and wide. Theophilus is projected into the dramatic events of the acts of the apostles, undertaking a journey of faith- challenged by issues such as how God is good even though life is so often bad.<\/p>

The staged concert\u00a0<\/strong>featured a cast of 15 led by West End and Broadway actor Edward Baker \u2013 Duly (Bridges of Madison County) West End actor Natasha Bain (The Lion King) Mark Bernard (Eastenders) and Richard Mellion (Rent) Supporting cast include Katie Forge, Adam Collins, Andrew Dovaston and Casey Lloyd (all Risen! The Musical) Sam Townsend (Rent) ChiChi Uzodinma (Portsmouth Gospel Choir) Amy Millar (YEM Theatre School) Evieanna Mullane (Waypoint Church) and Mei- Ling Thomas (Bay House & Solent Community Choir)<\/p>
