Mustard Seed Songs first concert was on October 27th 1998 which was a private occasion in a Drama room of Crofton School, Stubbington  to celebrate the 90th birthday of Reverend Robert Milliken who, with is son Bob Milliken led Ken Shearsmith to faith.

 This was followed by numerous concerts at Holy Rood church, Stubbington, St Mary’s Church, Portchester, St Edmond’s church, Stubbington, the Assembly Rooms Chichester Oasis church, Portsmouth, Portsmouth Baptist church and Hereford Cathedral.

Although the Mustard Seed’s musicals had now mainly superseded concerts, there was one produced at Kings church, Portsmouth in 2018 which featured the Portsmouth Gospel Choir and the cast of Risen! The Musical Theatre in Education
